The ACS Central Regional Meeting (CERM) will be coming back to Pittsburgh in November 2024. We were able to host a successful CERM 2014 in Pittsburgh, in part, due to the generous donations of various local companies and organizations. The theme of CERM 2014 was “Bridging Chemistry and Innovation” and hosted approximately 850 total attendees. We were able build an expansive technical program across various disciplines. There were 247 oral presentations within 39 technical sessions, highlighted by three well respected plenary speakers. Several of our subgroups (e.g. Younger Chemists Committee and Women Chemists Committee) were able to host special events to encourage their respected audiences. Additionally, the final day of the conference focused on undergraduates, hosting 129 poster presenters that also were able to take part in networking and resume review sessions. CERM 2024 will be held this November 6-9 with a theme of “The Confluence of Chemistry:  Past, Present, and Future.”  As we work to ensure CERM 2024 is as successful as CERM 2014 was for the chemical enterprises in our region, we again ask companies and organizations to consider being influential in that process.  We will be offering the same sponsorship packages as in 2014.

General Conference Sponsor ($10,000 – Platinum Level).

Major Events Sponsor ($5,000 – Gold Level). 

  • Free registration for two; complimentary exhibit booth; acknowledgement at mixer and on coffee break display.
